Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan), is the child of Wayne David Cardellini (a successful businessman). Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on April 5, 1989) is an English actress from the UK. She began her acting career in the show Just William in 2010, which was a British TV series. Cinderella (2015) is her first feature film, following the role she played Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey, the period drama. James then played the role of Countess Natasha Rostova, in the television version of War & Peace, in 2016. She also appeared in a number of films. These include the action-packed film Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and musicals Mamma Mia! Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday 2019, The role she played as Pamela Anderson in the biographical show Pam & Tommy (2022) received nominations for a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
